Welcome to Isle of Wight Salsa

Salsa is the ultimate partner dance! Great clubs, great people, and great music. It’s exciting, inspiring, and creative.

Isle of Wight Salsa is run by dancers for dancers (and potential dancers).  Everyone is welcome, and we have regularly been told what a friendly atmsophere there is here.

Classes are currently held in the main hall of Ryde Methodist Church, Garfield Road, Ryde every Tuesday night (see details on  this page).

You don’t need to come along with a partner as we quickly rotate dance partners giving everyone an opportunity to dance.

If you already dance, but want another occasion on which to dance; if you’ve not yet tried Salsa but think you might like to; or if you tried already, but didn’t take to it, then come along to Isle of Wight Salsa and see what we are all about.

Isle of Wight Salsa was reformed in 2012 by a group of established salsa dancers on the Isle of Wight, with the aim of giving everyone more opportunities to dance salsa on the Island. We are a friendly club, with individuals at all levels of experience. We are non-profit making, so any surpluses are ploughed back into the club for special events, and to bring guest teachers over from the mainland.
